В 2009 году Enya (по русски звучит как Эния) - ирландская певица, популярная как в Европе, так и в Америке, автор музыки к фильмам - представила релиз The Very Best of Enya. О выпуске этого альбома было объявлено на официальном сайте 26 августа 2009 года, а выпущен он был 23 ноября 2009 года.
Было выпущено две версии альбома The Very Best of Enya "стандартная" и Deluxe Edition. Стандартная версия альбома представлена на одном диске в него вошли 18 лучших композиций музыкального творчества Энии, причем представлены две если можно так сказать подверсии специально для японского рынка (на нем представлено 18 композиций плюс три трека) и подверсия для Северной Америки опять же 18 композиций плюс 1 бонус трек. Версия Deluxe Edition альбома The Very Best of Enya состоит из двух дисков CD и DVD. На CD представлены 22 композиции. На DVD-же представлены 13 видеоклипов и три короткометражных документальных фильма Enya: жизнь в музыке, Создание Caribbean Blue и Создание Only Time.
